Well, Guitar Hero does have a tap feature in their guitars, which represent various parts of the song that are not necessarily guitar parts. I suppose there could be an optional "tech" part that the sole purpose is to cover said parts.
Problem with that is that not all songs can have tech parts, just like a couple parts have no mics. It would have to be entirely optional to include one in a song.
