Due to the volcano in Iceland spewing smoke nonstop, it has spread all across Europe. This caused many flights to be grounded and train stations packed. There will be more pollution and dirty air over there too.
How long will the volcano keep pouring in smoke and how long will the smoke over in Europe linger?
Ash reflects the sun very effectively. Last time we had a big burner that lasted that long of spewed out as much was Krakatoa, and that made global temperatures drop enough to notice, and a lot of crops didn't grow. Didn't last very long, only a few years, but was a major pain in the neck.
Or how about we just call it a "volcanic winter"? I mean, crops has difficulties growing in the winter and a volcano is spewing out ash. Meaning that Europe's summer will be a "volcanic winter" probably.
