This is a question I have to ask... why do people compete to get number 1 in the Current Leaders? Or even the lifetime leaders? What is the point, really? Do those numbers make you special? Is having Gold King the key to life?
As with people on many other forums/message boards, a lot people think that more posts = better reputation. While the more active users who're regulars have lots of posts and are generally respectable, more posts doesn't mean that you automatically become awesome.
People love to compete with others, and outdo them. Well, not everyone. With many other things in life, it's the same with AP. A person wants to be the first among all the others. A person wants to be better than others. There is no magical gift you receive when you become #1.
thats the reason why it gives medals like the olympic medals.
Also, what is wrong with having a lot more comments than posts?
Maybe, having a bunch of comments makes some other people think that you spam? But on the other hand, some people don't care if you have more comments than posts.
I have about 900 more comments, but does that say anything about me?
It means that you have more comments than posts...
