This is a question I have to ask... why do people compete to get number 1 in the Current Leaders? Or even the lifetime leaders? What is the point, really? Do those numbers make you special? Is having Gold King the key to life?
Anyway, does this go anywhere specifically? Yes, people compete to get on a flawed board, and then whimper when they aren't there or are kicked off. It's the flaw in points and ranks. Yes people spam. Not just for points, but by just writing whenever, without having a goal in what their write, or by writing pointless statements. After all, spam is not just short posts for points. And on the "rate-spammers". You can only get that far by rating all the games. Considering the amount of games there is, sooner or later they would still have to go into the forums or the comments, and would be picked out as a spammer, if they continue the behaviour.
