I LOVE THIS SHOW! I was so mad when I was not able to see all of the opening episode! Can anyone tell me who won the two fights?

I was pissed with the apache vs the gladiator. The apaches in their intro video used guns, and they used them in real life too. They didn't use them at all in the tests.
A big problem I have with that show is that they don't use uniform tests for both of the weapons they compare. They tested a samurais katana, which cut through about two and a half pigs in a swipe, but they equate that to a vikings axe swung against some other target and say that the axe is obviously better.
Who taught these guys science is what I want to know.
the Celts believed not incorrectly that a wound in battle where someone wore a shirt or something, the cloth would get into the wound and infect it. They didn't understand microorginisms or anything, but knew that wounds festered when cloth got caught in them. Also they would paint themselves to intimidate the enemy.
As to who would win, It's hard to say. The Immortals didn't have the best armor, but it was better than the Celts. They had wicker shields, which wouldn't stop much, maybe catch a blade in it. Both used bows, spears, and the Celts used axes and swords too. I'm not sure on this one.
