There was a Iranian Cleric who said that earthquakes are caused by feminine immodesty. So a scientist named Jen McCreight, decided she'd test this theory scientifically, and got a lot of women to show off some cleavage on Monday, Apr 26.
She wanted to show what nonsense this religion was all about, just oppressing women like they do. But what happened was this, Boobquakes! These are counted as above 5.0 and these are all the ones being caused in 24 hours after:

I think this requires further testing...Yes a bunch of hot women getting together and going topless definably requires we run this test a few times to be sure of our results....
@AnaLoGMunKy As much as I hate to admit it, your right. She only collected a n=1 and I think scientists use 3 n's before they make conclusions. So maybe she's wrong to draw conclusions so early?
Another thing is this. Her graph showing less than 50 boobquakes, and she said, "There were 47 earthquakes on the 26th, which falls well within the 95% confidence interval for number of earthquakes (about 0 to 148)." But I counted a lot more than that. There were like 120 earthquakes in the USA alone just using her source.

Mysterious. Why would she want to hide the truth about how many earthquakes were actually caused on 4/26? It's no wonder why people listen to their clerics, scientists make stuff up!
Hmmm . . . more testing. Lots more. I think all news programs should air a special focused on the outcome of the experiment . . . it's important news . . . live footage is important too, so we can see how the experiment procedure goes down . . . .
Anyway, fer srs, earthquakes above 5.0 happen all the time. Earthquakes at 6.0 happen like once a month, and 5.0s are relatively common. It was probably just a coincidence . . . but then again, you can never be sure *cough*
sorry. being a guy full of raging hormones, I saw the word "boob" and came here. I am actually not going to contribute anything at all but just to say. WOW that is either some crazy coincidence, or there exists a god.
On a serious note earthquakes are constantly happening, many over 5.0 magnitude. I seriously doubt there is a connection, and the cleric has some pretty crazy ideas.
But like said, I think the study would benefit from more tests...
