There was a Iranian Cleric who said that earthquakes are caused by feminine immodesty. So a scientist named Jen McCreight, decided she'd test this theory scientifically, and got a lot of women to show off some cleavage on Monday, Apr 26.

She wanted to show what nonsense this religion was all about, just oppressing women like they do. But what happened was this, Boobquakes! These are counted as above 5.0 and these are all the ones being caused in 24 hours after:

1. 6.5 Tawaiin
2. 5.4 South Sandwich Islands
3. 5.1 South Sandwich Islands
4. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/us2010vnck.php

So what's the conclusion with this lung protector experiment - did it help science or religion?

Yes, more tests are necissary. I may have to preform them myself, but sacrafices must be made! On the seriose note, it is a major coincidence. If a guy came out of the sky with a handfull of lightning bolts and smitted them, then it may have been more believable, but as it is it is a mear coincidence.

As many have already said...

The experiment has to be recreated to hold any kind of validity.

The world must have been one hell of a place before people started wearing animal hides.

LOL

But on a serious note: I think this was't the case, and therefore we conclude that Boobquakes are bullshit.

In another boob related study, it would seem staring at women's breasts can increase a mans lifespan by up to five years.

My take on the matter is: There was no significant increase in earthquakes, so no further experimentation is really necessary. Even less necessary are funny comments about how further experimentation is necessary.

On the other hand: There was a significant-ish earthquake, so no matter the cause or the statistics, everyone should admit that they were, in fact, told, even if it wasn't particularly note-worthy and proves nothing. Cleric guy totally called it.
