well if you already have a dsi there isnt a point because its just a 2cm [or 2 in.] difference

DS Phat, DS Lite, DSi, DS Phat2.

If you bought one of these now, you would be wasting your money, since you could buy the same thing less, without the mediocre DSi elements. You even get a GBA slot to go with it!

I think there overdoing it with the Dsi XL.In my opinion its a waste of money if you have a DS lite or a normal Dsi.

Well, it all depends on your preference, but I'll stand by my notion that the phat is best XD

Better stereo/surround speaker system, larger screens, default dimmer backlight so it is not so blinding, better battery life because so, stronger, more-durable, tougher button life so they aren't so worn out after a short period of time, the list goes on. Oh and if you're comparing this to a DSi, then I'll add in the list of "you get a GBA slot".

i just hate the ds so i would't get it because there isn't enough games that are worth much and that last a while

Dude, get the 3ds! Or the ds2 or something better than the dsi XL.

Lol that's going to be farther in the future. But seriously though, you're considering buying an XL when you have a DS Phat already?

-- Lesser quality of sound

-- Brighter light (bad)

-- Camera (waste of money. Use a separate camera which has much better quality)

-- Music (use an ipod or mp3, which also has better quality)

-- Same size screen

-- Lesser button life

I'm telling ya dude, like my last post, you're seriously not going to miss anything. I would wait until the 3DS when you actually have something new to look forward to.
