I find it rather amusing that if someone posts on a game like say the word, "burp", they will get 2 armor points. However, if someone spends hours building a game for the shares and posts it on say, crush the castle players pack thread, they get one point! Yet, if they post it on the comments page of the games and then comment on it, they will get 4 points!
Then, instead of using the comments pages, you directly communicate with everyone's profiles, you can quadruple your points by saying the same crap!
I think that Dan the Man CEO of Armor Games needs to rethink this point system as it is being abused.
Wanna get 4 armor points in a hurry, click on a game - don't even play it, rate it, then comment: "Awesome!".. or whatever... Jeez, comment on your own profile and get two points per pop!
I say this because a lot of true contributors to this site who maintain the true Armor Games integrity, have not been recognized while others, simply cheat the system.
The Armor Points scam is probably good for the web site but, quite frankly, I do not think it helps them... Oxymoron? Time will tell...
Yeah I think commenting should be 1 or 0, and forum posts 2 or so. Would increase activity in the forum and decrease spam in game comments and user profiles.
I have a possible solution, but it could change almost the entire Armor Points distribuiting system. Why don't you receive 1 AP for each line you write or instead lines it would be words, i don't know is just an idea. Say what do you think about my idea.

BAAAAD!!!!
I like your attitude ramirex, trying to improve it, but the idea has a negative side. If I want AP, and I get one for each line, whether that would be a sentence or a real line, I could just say
true, but it gives players something to work for. I think you should get rewarded AP by time you spend on games, the posts in communities. i do not think that you should get points for commenting on someones page, or make it a 6 points limit to points you get from comments daily. idk
I bet you (if AG actually makes it go through) that players could be rewarded based on the amount of time that they play a game in 3.0. Xfire does this same method in which every hour of gameplay on a specific game gets counted. So for every specific amount of time a person is playing a game, they get rewarded a set amount of AP by using a counter system.

Please no, people will just leave their computers on all day night on a certain game :S
Besides, most people just play a game here for like 5-10 mins then just to go further with their lives?

...and not get counted because they have snooze-proof systems involved.

Well the normal time it takes for the average joe to get one legit AP is 1-2 minutes. Some games like Sonny and Feudalism have more in-depth game concepts involved that would require more time to complete, thus more AP gain as a reward.
@Renegadeplayer, EXACTLY! You should not get 2 points or any points for posting on a profile. That is ridiculous... The points should be in the forums where everyone sees the post. If I check out everyone's profile and type in "burp" on their profile, I would get a million points - kidding but it is ridiculous. I've seen one guy post on his own profile plus the person he is talking to!

There will be plenty of hack-programms made to make it look like they're playing etc, bypassing your system

I didnt finish sonny 2 at all yet, and when I was playing it I usually played it for 20 minutes max. It is right but then again it would improve long games and the short games will be a little bit unappreciated. They give less AP after all. The idea itself is pretty good but I don't think it will work. And what would you do with the other methods of gaining AP? Like Forum posts?

NO. Spammers would just say something like: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa See? 5 AP for spamming right there.
