I think that it is well balanced but somehow crypt towers seem to have an advantage over the others because of their range. But then again undead upgrades are lame compared with other two. I like this game, it looks good. The only annoying thing are those thieves that go stealth, they always take gems out of the cave, there should be some tower whose special is to reveal hidden bastards.
Yea, I hate those ninjas, but meteors are very effective while they are invisible, I have upgraded my meteors to 5/5 als maximum mana to 5/5 and now they cost 100 mana and my maximum mana is about 500, thet helps alot against ninjas
I hate the ninja champions because they make it almost impossible to get the brilliant rank on a level . . . meh.,
Also, dens are the best. They're weak on their own, but I have them fully upgraded, and even the basic ones are like high-damage machine guns. On high ground, their fire rate and damage is almost too good. And the unter's dens and catapult dens . . . don't even get me started.
I JUST started (level 3, fer srs), but right now, I'm loving the crypts. I don't have enough rounds to fully upgrade the den towers yet like Altykins loves so much lol.
i don't get the hype about this flash. it's a quality game, yes, but i don't see how it's that great of a tower game compared to the tons of other ones out there.

I think it's the branching tower trees. I've found that people really like branching weapon upgrade trees for some reason.
The Evileye temples should get exp faster imo, its nearly impossible to reach beholder's temple. Great game though. No favorite temple atm but in the beginning my favorite was ghost, but dens and AOE temples are great too : ) To kill ninjas, you should get hunter/orc dens close to the entrance so that they'd lose most of their hp through crits and then put some dens next to the gems so they'd kill them right when they turn visible.
I made strategy for killing ninjas, build temple in place where waves come from, ninjas become invisible for 5 seconds when they got shoot, soo...that first tower is going to make them invisible and when they come to other towers (after 5 seconds) they are going to die, picture might help you to understand it
Red line = when ninjas are visible Blue line = when ninjas are invisible Green line = shoots from tower Purple X = when ninjas are dead
I haven't progressed far into the game (only three levels) but I must say it is one of the most polished and well crafted tower defense games I have played. I'm also quite surprised that it's rating is sky-rocketing. It's 9.1 right now.

one of reasons I like it is tower upgrades, in other tower defense games you can upgrade any tower anytime and that make them soo complex that I don't know what to do next, but in this one tower needs to kill enemyes to be able to be upgraded...
I've actually played at least one game which requires experience for your towers, in order to level them up. Those are the Protector TD games. Though you don't place "towers", you place people there who stay in a fixed location.
Strategy for countering thieves is obvious but they still manage to take gems. I replayed a level to get brilliant score, everything goes smooth and then at the last level BUMM! Champion thief appears, breaks land speed record and manage to slightly displace a gem before towers kill him, like he is saying: No brilliant for you fagot, go fuck yourself! That is very annoying, because this is becoming a very popular game I guess there will be a sequel and it would be nice if something for revealing stealth units is implemented in the game.

It's really tough to lay claim to making a strat like that, because it's obvious . . . I've been doing that since after my first encounter with ninjas. But I didn't think of using a temple for it, I always used a crypt or a den.
Anyway, are the temples really useful at all when they're upgraded a lot? I'm wondering whether to focus my upgrade points from now on on temples or crypts, because I already have dens fully upgraded.
