Overall I think Halo:Reach is the greatest Halo game yet by far. Many people say it is turning into call of duty though because of the 'erks' as some people call then and the starting weapon classes. There reason for the starting weapon classes is so that there is no unfair advantage. Too many people from halo 3 were complaining that someone had a BR when they only had an AR and that this was an unfair advantage. So classes were put in so people can spawn with the same weapons, or weapons with the same ability/power. The new Gametypes are amazing. I love stockpile, it is a nice twist on capture the flag. 4 idol flags with 2 teams vying over them. Then my favorite thing is pulling enemy flags out of there area just before time runs out Headhunter is also very fun. Lots of people runnning around grabbing skulls and then turning around for that mad dash to the skull return point, only to then be shot and have skulls fly out of there dead body. You can't forget the satisfying kill on the person that was about to get a skullamanjaro. Or when you run in a room where to people just died that between the two had ten skulls and then sweep up a skullamanjaro yourself. Or what do you think about Invasion? 6 elites trying to take down barriers to get to a power core which they must then bring to a covenant ship waiting on the side of the cliff while 6 spartans try to prevent this. Now for the Maps, Like em' or Not? I myself like all of the maps. Boneyard has to be my favorite yet. The biggest map bungie has ever made! Invasion slayer was just the right gametype for it because it would be too big for normal 6v6 slayer. People would just be hiding in high places of the map sniping people. Invasion slayer, there are no weapons on the map, only when you secure a target area for 10 seconds and then in another 15 seconds have reinforcements(weapons or vehicle drop). This makes it so people are going for these instead of just spread way out across this vast map. Powerhouse and Sword Base are also really good maps. The game types work out well for all of them. If anyone is complaing about the powerfulness of the gernades or the double melee, don't fret none, Bungie will be fixing it for the game release this fall, along with many other bugs.
Well that is all for now, if I have more I will post it later.
Last of all a Halo:Reach fact of the day: Did you know that on the first day of the beta release(may 3rd 10'there was over 30 years of time invested playing between all of the players?
Right there. You've started off completely on the wrong foot by comparing this game to Halo 3. Reach isn't going to be the same as 3 because it isn't meant to be.
Other than that: The new needler rifle thing isn't supposed to make people blow up, the replacement for the BR isn't inaccurate, you just can't use it, grenades bounce still, but it's in a more realistic way, and the launcher was always able to carry that much ammo, unless you're talking about rockets per mag; it's still just two.
