Today's brain teaser is:
Below are incomplete words. Place two letters in each bracket so that you can complete the word on the left and begin the word on the right. Good luck.

Dit (--) urch
Ju (--) eam

Don't worry if you can't figure it out...(I personally only managed to fill 5 blanks)

New one for today
A horse is tied to a 15 feet rope and there is a bail of hay 25 feet away from him. Yet the horse is able to eat from the bail of hay. How is this possible?

The hay is on the other side of the pole that the horse is tied to.

Like this:
Horse ~~15 ft of rope~~||(pole)||___ten feet of space___ []Hay

That is a good idea...but this is more of an alternative way to solve it. There is another way.

yeah that's what i'd say but i have one more idea.

horse-----(fifteen feet of rope)------another tree to turn the rope around-----ten more feet going backwards towards the horse.

Sorry if it's confusing :P

The other end of the rope is not tied to anything, so the horse can go where ever it want.
Isn't this considered a forum game?

Cenere is correct

I guess this could be up to interpretation so I see your point.

New one:
Sabrina gave Samantha as many dollars as Samantha started out with.

Samantha then gave Sabrina back as much as Sabrina had left.

Sabrina then gave Samantha as back as many dollars as Samantha had left, which left Sabrina broke and gave

Samantha a total of $80.00.

How much did Sabrina and Samantha have at the beginning of their exchange?

Yay I got it.... sorta :P

This one's easy. $80.00. Because she ends up broke, and Samantha has $80.00. They didn't get rid of any money, and they didn't add more.

Sabrina has 70, Samantha had ten.

It's easiest if you work backwards:

You know there is a total of 80 dollars.

Sabrina then gave Samantha as back as many dollars as Samantha had left, which left Sabrina broke

At the begginning of this step, they must have equal amounts of money. Which is 40 + 40. We know this because sabrina ends up with no money.

Samantha then gave Sabrina back as much as Sabrina had left.

At the beggining of this step, Samantha must have 60, and sabrina must have 20, because that would result in the 40-40 of the next step.

Sabrina gave Samantha as many dollars as Samantha started out with.

Sabrina must have 70 and samantha must have 10, because that results in the 20-60 of the next step.

So in order: (Sabrina-Samantha)
70-10
20-60
40-40
0-80
