The morning journey took 65 minutes.

Mr.Moody's watch is 5 minutes slow after adjusting it.

If the return journey was 25% faster, then it should have taken 80% of the time, so 52 minutes.

If according to Mr.Moody's watch the return train arrived on time, then it arrived 5 minutes late. If the station clock was accurate, then the journey took 55 minutes.

The station clock is 3 minutes fast.

correct!

If you're 8 feet away from a door and with each move you advance half the distance to the door.

How many moves will it take to reach the door?

Uh... infinity. You see if you move half you'll be half way to the door right? But if you move half of the space you have left that's a quarter. Half of a quarter is 12.5 so you move that far from the door. Half of that is 6.25. Half of that is 3.125. And so on.

Unless you make a mistake and touch the door...

agreed with 1337player it should be infinity, but still, i dont know how long is the first move, if with each move you advance half the distance of the door, in my theory

8*0.5 = 4 feet < is this the first move distance ? i'm just guessing but i think you need INFINITY in theory but maybe this is a joke. It could only take 1 move, i dont know...

Well if you want your feet to touch the door then it would take infinite moves, but If you just want to be able to open the door then after the 2nd move, you'll be 2 feet away from the door at which point you could comfortably reach and open the door.

You will never reach the door! (In theory)

If you only move half the distance, then you will always have half the distance remaining no matter how small the number.

While exploring the wild highlands of Scotland, Crazy Rob was captured by hostile wood fairies.

Smazze, the powerful chief of the fairies told him he could make one final statement which would determine how he would die.

If the statement he made was false, he would be boiled in water.

If the statement were true, he would be fried in oil.

Crazy Rob found neither of this options too his liking, so he made a statement that got him out of this seemingly impossible situation.

What is the one statement he could make to save himself?

You Crazy Rob said, "You will boil me in water."

The fairies were in a tight spot.
If they boil him in water, that would make his statement true, which means he should have been fried in oil.
They can only fry him in oil if he makes a true statement, but if they do, it would make his final statement false. It would be a paradox.
The fairies had no way our of their situation so they were forced to set Crazy Rob free.

correct!
Two police offers were investigating a mysterious death.

When they arrived at the scene of the crime they found a room with no windows and the dead man who seemed to have hung himself by a rope from the ceiling.

There was no chair or table that the man may have jumped off.

The only clue was a puddle of water on the floor.

How did the man manage to hang himself?

If he says, "I will be boiled in water and not friend in oil", then the statement can't be false because then he would be boiled in water like the statement says. The statement can't be true because then he would be fried in oil when the statement says that he wont be fried in oil.

oh, did he stand on a block of ice before tying the rope around his neck, and the ice melted into a puddle?

New
Late one evening, a man and a his wife were driving their car at speed down a country road. The car spun of the road and hit a tree.

The man decided to seek help at a garage a few miles away.

He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the doors.

When he returned, his wife was dead, and there someone in the car he had never seen before.

No physical damage was done to the car, it was still locked?

How did the woman die?

Where did the stranger come from?
