Interviews. AG should have a monthly interview with a recent programer that's well known. I love reading those. And I think it should be a big deal to be asked to get interviewed, not handed out easily.
Contests. Last time there was a contest on AG was in 2008... I'd love to vote for some games to get prizes and such. It could be monthly or even long term, yearly. They're just loads of fun.
Again, you can't interview them every month: Good games take months to make, and programmers only give info when they want to, not when the general public wants it.
That's why you only interview people who are willing to be.
