hey, i was just wondering, i was going to order some religious bracelet like this one; https://www.giftscatholic.com/item/Saint-Bracelet-Small-Black-645.html it says its a catholic style, but im christian, will this affect anything with my religion? or is it fine?
I didn't say you were. I was specifically talking about you and wolf. And I don't care how much you think you know about our religion, you don't know anything until you become one of us. And I will not turn this into an argument so don't expect me to answer you. This isn't a debate. It was a question, and it has been answered.
I have thought you have been on this forum long enough to learn that is not true...
"You don't know anything about monkeys until you become one!" "But I have lived with monkeys all my life..." "You don't truthfully know anything about monkeys! It takes one to know one!"
And, on top of that, I was a Cristian at birth until I was old enough to start thinking... Non Christians are extremely well qualified to judge theological questions.

How would it be offensive to wear it if your christian... Christianity is just a religion with like, 5 smaller religions in it. Right? Don't get pissed if I'm wrong, I don't know this stuff xD
One thing I never got about symbols uses in Christianity. Doesn't one of the big 10 No-Nos state not to make such things?
I don't think it goes along making symbols for Christianity, since the cross is the universal symbol for it. Making idols and whatnot from other religions goes against the 10 no-nos though.

Alright that's it. 314d1, what does this topic have to do about your personal life? Nothing, other than the fact that it has to do with Christianity. The fact that those kids said that to you does not mean that they all did. If you were a Christian before then yes, you are qualified to judge those types of questions; however, not all of us have been. And even so, you should generalize as you are doing now.
Danstanta, I'm really sorry that this simple question turned into something like this. Something like this makes me feel bad being an Atheist. Borderline flaming constitutes a lock, so I have to go find a mod before it spins too much out of control.
this was never and will never be a debate, it was a simple question, i don't know what you are reading but this is no such thing as a debate, just a simple question

Apparently possum didn't think I was qualified to judge Cristian questions, and that adds to my ability, thus is totally relevant there.

I guess so, don't recall that ever being stated just that you are not to make any idols of anything in heaven or earth.

I suppose this should have been placed in a different section but the question has been answered so I guess that's 'thread'.
