well, i can confirm that most of the ties that ive been in (and won) have been against guests, and my name starts with R... so i dont think thats the case.

well, that would be the only logical way i can think of that a tie would be settled... unless theres some other game mechanic that i dont know about that comes into play when settling ties.
That is when i mostly get owned by the saws. If you aren't going for a speedrun, just rushing in while randomly jumping will do the trick in a few (quite a lot, actually) attempts.

Far from perfect again, many mistake/death because i was not paying attention enough in some parts, but much less death from the last few levels and the dreaded multiple axes i think i begin to get the hang of those axes timing.
Though playing uniplayer is not imprescindible it does give you the feel of what is going on. It teaches you the basics, then starts scaling difficulty, so I'd reccomend playing it first. Besides, I loved the story.
