Story: The year is 3719. The human race has spread among thousands of star systems all under the banner of an imperialistic Earth. Three months ago all contact with Earth was lost due to series of violent coups and sabotages. In the remnants of this the Imperium has been overthrown. Now you are left with the task of filling in the void that has been left by the fall of the Imperium.
Rules: In this game your goal is to take control of Earth's shattered Imperium. To do this you will have to build armadas of ships, invade other colonies with your armies, colonize new planets, engage in diplomacy and espionage.
Each player starts off on their homeworld as a Govenor (title may be changed after first post). Please note that ONE person may start on Earth, but it will be extremely challenging. Here is the character chart below:

Start research on a combat cruiser with railguns as primary armament. 4 arcs of shields, and 4 arcs of composite armor--made from variouis alloys and composites. Also, two chemical beam lasers for short range and point defense, and a pulse shield.
Build point defense bases w/ pulse beams around the planet.
By the way--gamer specified *nothing* to put on his destroyers...does that mean they're giant floating rocks?

Yes i do mean that im waiting for my deal with the other guy about 2 his most advanced wepoens for 2 colony ship full of plasma im planning to put them on my destroyers
and i start making anti-ship satilight forts with ship piercing special made plasma turrets slow but very powerful
I mean...you have some people spending lots of time trying tot ech up, and some people who jump right in and build a fleet of destroyers witout bothering with ANYTHIGN else...not even a shipyard to BUILD those destroyers.
This won't work---I can easily say I would like to build >9000 destroyers with 20 quantum singularity torpedoes on each that fire in all directions with reload drones and huge amounts of armor and shields and a wormhole generator.
Start deveoping the quantum singularity torpedo (core weapon) When it hits, it generates a miniature black hole. Large splash, damage, speed, long reload.
I mean...some planets don't evena ppear to have POWER.

Over the past five years Project New Life has been completed successfully, however unrest almost threatened to overthrow the entire government I had set up.
