"Extra Extra! Alain life found on distant planet! Seem to be intelligent...."

"Extra extra! Alain species has hijacked a human ship and have begun learning how to make it!"

"Extra extra! War declared on alien species dubbed as "Greens""

Those are the news reports you have been reading for the last few weeks. Alain war? Who's crack pot idea was this? It is 2012 all over again! Yet, you take the precision of arming yourself slightly as you go around your daily routines, witch is a good thing since everyone is in a state of panic, fighting and mugging go around regularly on the streets. Yet they see your weapon and run. When you walk home, you hear a third new cast....

"Extra! Extra! Alain launched first assault! War machines and infantry of both species run around all over Ontario!"

Ontario, you think, is no were near were you live. You will be fine. After all, we entered there planet, not the other way around. How little do you know?!

I will act as the DM for this game. It is mildly based of War Of the Worlds, the classic book, but only extremely mildly.

It takes place in modern world, some will start out in dense city populations while others in less populated arias.

Standard RP rules

Character sheet:
Name:
Age:
Weapon*:
Job*:
Bio:

*The weapon you have will depend on your job and location for the most part, such as if your a doctor you will not have a bazooka and if you live in the country you will likely have a shotgun or hunting rifle while if you are in the city you will more likely have a pistol or other hand gun. Also, you may choose melee weapons and will have the chance to later change weapons. Guns have ammo, and depending on your job again, it will depend how much you have ex a plumber has a lot of pockets thus can store more ammo then an athlete who doesn't have pockets.

* Your jobs can be nearly anything, and your jobs will create your constitution and skills. Such as a mobster would have pretty good gun control and a medium constitution and a body builder would have good constitution. It has to be a real job, and one a human can do.

Feel free to make a suggestion, as long as we are not in the middle of the game. Try not to come in late, as it may be difficult to place you in a good place.

You look out. You see now bear, yet you do see the body of one of the movers, laying down in a painful way, it looks like his torso was gnawed on a little. You run to the entrance, not wanting to spend to much time in this place. Coming outside you notice it has been several hours and it is now dark out. You see the moving van, with the keys still in it.

You could take the van, risking getting caught by the police, but gaining a truck.

You could return home, were you have little risk of getting mugged and you could rest.

Or you could go to the nearby bakery, whose security is less for the night.

Remember, just suggestions, and you can ad to them.

"Then why did you bring your gun?" He asks. "Your preparing for the aliens, aren't you? Don't be embarrassed, you see, I was going hunting for them. Why else would I wait until night? This is a shotgun, and its not bird season. I know you, and you could have guessed my position! I don't have the aim of you sniper folk, but I have a good double barrel hear."

You could ask him to come up with you, after getting his hunting rifle, witch runs the risk of having both of you in the same place, but has greater aria of cover.

You could get your shotgun, witch would cover the forest completely, but runs the risk of being closer to the enemy and doesn't cover anything else.

These are still just suggestions.

You look threw the bakery window. There is a guard on duty, but he is asleep with headphones on. You set down your sword and poke your dagger into the door, using it like a credit card, and the door opens. You put your dagger back and re grab your sword. The bakery door is right next to the guard, it will be easy to get past him. Closer examination of the guard shows he is armed with an assault rifle, is wearing a bullet proof vest, and next to him has a backpack.

You could kill the guard while he sleeps, allowing you to take all his stuff and get some food and water from the bakery, but runs the risk of taking to long and having the next guard come in and kill you. The only way to safely get his bullet proof vest.

You could rob the guard of his backpack, witch would give you something to carry your loot and sword in while taking little risk.

You could take his gun, witch would be dangerous if you were found with it, but it makes an effective weapon.

Still just suggestions.

And no, I am full with my game at the moment.

Your friend gives you a small solute with the butt of his shotgun then continues walking in the direction of the forest. He was halfway down the hill when what seemed to be a falling star started coming in your direction. Your friend ripped off his orange vests, hopping to better camouflage himself, and hits the deck. The peace of metal hits the lake with a huge sound. The hole village is up now, most of them carrying weapons.

You could continue to aim at the metal and shoot any infantry that comes out, shooting at the manned vehicles if no infantry were percent, witch runs the risk of getting attacked by the aliens and leaves you semi vulnerable to attack from vehicles.

You could rally the village under your superior military knowledge, witch runs the risk of killing the whole village but gives it better defense.

You could yell "GET TO THE BUNKER" to attempt to save people from the attacking aliens.

He drives you to the wall. The other soldiers are not very talkative, and the ride is generally uneventful. You take a post on the wall, having a good view of the empty tundra around you. You then eat a small ration meal brought to you by a hurried nurse. Half way threw your meal you hear shouting and firing of the defense turrets on the other side.

You could finish your meal, witch runs the risk of dieing before you finish, but gets your energy up and steadies your nerves.

You could run to the other side of the wall were the combat is happening and try to help, running the risk of an attack on your side and getting hit in combat but strengthens the other wall.

Or you could drop your meal and watch your post, running a risk of getting defeated at the other side and getting shot on this side if an invasion happened.

After grabbing the stuff you run back to your house. You didn't see many people, probably because the National Guard imposed a curfew. Soldiers patrolled the street, but you managed to sneak home.

What do you do now?

The villagers listen, and within half an hour you had twenty companions on the roof. The rest of the village either went the the bunker, the few children and women who did not or could not fight, and the rest, about 15, grabbed shotguns. There were a few with assault rifles, who joined the shotgun men at the bottom of the hill. The mayor, and intelligent young man, had some maltove cocktails and pipe bombs made from chemicals at the local school, and he passed them around the the shotgun troops.

After a few hours of nothing, you notice your laser was disrupted for a split second. That was all you needed. You fired, and the bullet was met by a scream, and a green, somewhat fish like creature appeared. They had a body like a fish with four legs like a frog, and in its front foot was a stick with a trigger that you assume is a gun. The mayor throws one of the cocktails, and having created an aria of dead grass around the human, the fire spread down the hill and generally around. There were a dozen yells and many fish men appeared. The don't seem to be able to take fire or heat(REMEMBER THAT!). The meteor gives a grown, and several spider like machines come out, with a glass head. There were a few infantry fish now, but they are easily seen in the firelight.

Your village opens fire, many bullets bounce off the hull of the spiders. The infantry aliens hope into the water to avoid bullets, some try ineffectively to put out the fire. About twelve spiders have now come out of the meteor. You have yet to find a weakness, you have fired at the window, the joints, and the places were the armor goes together. All futile. But then one of the spiders managed to get to the bottom of the hill, and you spot what you think is the gas can. You fire at it. The bullet pierced the can with a, inhuman scream. The spider stood rigid after the shot. Bingo. You start aiming for the sack in the back, though it is hard to hit at distance. The infantry men have set up some kind of pump and are using it to put out the fire. Eleven war machines left. You look down to see the casualties, everyone was still there(Not surprising, considering you have not heard enemy fire)except the mayor, who seems to have dissipated.

You walk threw your small village with a nice size buck on your back. You arrive home and start gutting and skinning it with your hunting knife. Halfway threw the local newsboy throws a newspaper on your front doorstep, with the large print:

ALIENS IN EVERY COUNTRY ON EARTH!

The text interests you. You stop what you are doing and go to read it. It says:

Strange mettle meteorites are hitting earth, in a seeming strategic fashion, then march to the capital destroying everything in the way. These creatures are said the be taller then human, about 10 feet for a soldier, and have a green complexion. Eyewitness accounts say that some have the appearance of an earth fish, some have look like earthen bear, though larger and more vicious, and by far the most dangerous are the human like aliens witch seem to be the only ones capable of using guns. Scientist theorize that more species will be added to the list. The invaders also have several forms of war machines, though it is unknown weather they are driven or of artificial intelligence, or a mixture of both. The current machines are spiders, which seem to be a close range fighter, a spearfish, which seams to be there only naval vessel and can fire what seem to be medium size rocks from a short distance, and the last an albatross witch is there air force and is capable of firing a machine gun like weapon, though the bullets seem once more to be made of stone.

Then a second report:

ON THE FRONT LINES

The exploratory forces of our world have been put together to create the new ship Ares. We have received no signals from the battalion already on the planet, thus doubt any good news.

Evacuation

Cities in danger of being destroyed are being evacuated. The military will bring you to the nearest fort, were you will be taken care of fully until the threat has past.

As you finish a military jeep comes to your front door. What do you do?

You jump from your post on the wall and start running to the other wall. After almost getting crushed by several tanks, you spot a familiar face. It is the man who offered to drive you. He gets out of the car and speaks you you.

"Sorry for almost running you over.... Hey, how about I make up for it by bringing you to your destination?"

You agree. It is a long walk to the other wall. He drives you there within ten minutes, and it is now apparent that the firing came from here. You get out of the transport, along with five other troops, and climb the latter as fast as possible. On getting on the top, you see the battle field. About fifty spiders were spread out three the open tundra, as well as three hundred humanoid figures not in a soldier's uniform. On your side you see about the same in tanks, more coming in from the fort, and five hundred infantry soldiers. There were a few broken peaces of the spiders on the ground, though no tank wreckage could be found, and a few human and humanoid corps. The turrets were all firing at the spiders, every third hit felling one.
