Well, it is legal to get a job anywhere in the us. (unless of couse they want something to show you live i nthe curtent state)

I would say get a job at a gas station, or wallmart or something. Not real high pay, but a few hundred bucks should be all you need.

For that, Bjiscuit, you need to look at that state's law for that answer, since state law is different from others. I've looked into the gist of Indiana law, and they do not require residencies for employment. But again, this could be different from state to state.

Thanks, i wasnt sure where to look for this kind of information, i still have about 2 weeks before i leave, but you know, im just hoping to find somewhere where i can make a little bit of spending money

It's not whether it's legal that's the problem. It's whether or not they'll want to hire you for just 6 weeks. There's a lot of competition out there. But you could always sell yourself to strange men and/or mannish women.

I would just go to a temp service. And really, I can't recommend any type of job without knowing your skills.

Well get a job that you would like , That you would be happy with . Starbucks sounds like a good start. Maybe try working at Starbucks.
