It's just going to end up as a lot of articles and not much debating.

If you really want to debate something start a thread on it specifically so it can be more focused and a better experience.

I'm game. This seems relevant to my interests.

If you don't mind. Maybe a more recent occurrence?
Oil Spill in Gulf of Mexico

Article

Specifically focusing on the impacts to the environment and ecological systems in the nearby affected areas. I have many personal views about BP and how they are handling it. So far I have watched 3 hours of response footage from BP representatives and all they talk about is cleaning it up and fixing the 20,000 lawsuits.

Where do they speak of protecting and healing the environment?

Thoughts? Scientific... of course.

@Red
What?

I found this interesting website. (can't remember name)
It is about drivers ed.
The highest % of people that know little about drivers ed are 1st NY
2nd Nj
and the least car crashes per square mile are in NY then NJ
It makes no sense.

If you want to talk about a scientific breakthrough or something else science, go ahead and make a thread for that specific event.
