Does this happen to anyone else or just me?

You find an interesting topic, about which you know something and decide to post in the thread - then BOOM, it dies a slow death. Your post just sits there, with no-one answering/talking about/looking at it and you watch it slowly sink through the forum.

Am I the only one who this happens to? I bet this thread will just slide away into nothingness (I seem to have that effect).

threads are like viral videos. If they are extremely funny, gross, totally off the wall, embarrassing, politics or racist the thread will live on for a long time. If the thread is educated, well thought, cute, boring, or too long then it will die a quick death. combinations of the first and second group either result in extremely long lived threads or a thread that dies a slow and staggeringly painful death.

REVIVED!
I think rate the above user stuff is stupid. its like spamming but legal.
And if you find some people that are willing to read through the huge long posts, then it wont die. unless you have thread going for a dozen pages or so, then all the people that you were talking to forget about that thread. Then it truly dies. almost every thread dies. Except for the contests... sometimes they get a bit dry, but if people find out that there is a merit involoved, then it doesnt really end.
but these tavern topics and stuff always die. there is no point! you will have one thing going, like this one, then everyone agrees on something, and it dies.
The WPR one i dont think will ever die though. the Evolutionism or Creationism is still going strong. has been for months now. XD
