I want to hear everyone's opinions on this, whether you come from the U.S. or not. Please bring only facts to back up your opinions, though. No telling anyone to 'shut the front door' because they don't believe in legalization, and please no gushing over how good pot is for all of the recreational users out there.
Personally, I want legalization for patients that are bound to die anyway (cancer, etc.) that need pain relief only.
Ok, you guys mind not just ignoring this post? I get that there are those of you that just want to read and not type anything up, but I'd truly appreciate your opinions and facts on this important topic.

There's no point in saying that because if your thread is being ignored it's for a reason and that your thread should just die.
1 reason is that there is a thread almost perfectly related to this already.. right now I am too lazy to find it but there is one.
Sour is correct in that. There is already one, from around March of 2009. A little searching doesn't hurt, you know. Things like this always have a predecessor.

If you're going to critisize someone because they didn't find the original thread, then you should find it yourself. Seriously, show some respect.
The reason people aren't replying to this thread is because this section tends to go through phases. Everyone is still tired out from the marijuana phase.
I personally think marijuana should be legalized for everyone, not just patients who are going to die anyway. The reason for this is because marijuana does not cause death.
Thanks for finding the thread Orion. Because it is found, I'll lock this one.
For future reference, don't worry so much if a thread is a repeat. If you can't find a thread within the first 2 or 3 pages, go ahead and make a new one. There's no reason to resurrect an old long thread when you can make a clean new one.
It's too big a pain to search any more than 4 pages for a thread, especially one that you never posted in before!
