So I know there's was already a thread about this but I stopped looking for it after 5 pages...
But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.
It's going to be a big release, way bigger than Assassins Creed II. I'm just glad that they are making the noob tube the most expensive gun add-on to buy. In my opinion they should of just left it out of the game, that and the thermal. Also, it's also making the game better that there is no commando/commando pro perk, theres no way that anyone can lunge 10 ft. to stab someone.
well noobtube is understandable, but cmon an attachment is an attachment, it helps IMMENSELY on heavily forested/ long range maps when u r scanning an area...
they say if you reserve it a preordered copy it comes with all zombies maps is that true??

They've talked about how much every one of their fans have said to bring it back and they will. I'm hoping it will have "leagues". You go through a few placement matches to see how good so you can get better if you are a new player to this series. I'm hoping that it won't have all the stupid flammers and trolls, lots of other online games have zero tolerance for stuff like that.
Go to the treyarch website and go to black ops there will be a sence were you sit there and watch a video camera of Der Neich Zombies come out and attack scientists.

CoD's never restricted someone from saying what they want online, I don't think. But what ways are there of doing so? I can only think strict filtering or heavy monitoring. Those 2 will be unsuccessful I'm sure.
Black Ops sounds awesome! But, apparently they are talking it off the shelves because it's giving the bad guys a bad rep, and you had to pre-order. But I don't know, someone fill me in on this.

Zombie mode is real.c If you buy the Hardened or Prestige edition, you get to exclusively play the W@W Maps (until they are released as DLC), as well as new maps. If you buy standard edition, you will get brand new mp maps.
Okay. I know I've been a massive pain with my skeptical perspective on Black Ops. I will clarify whether this was necessary by: 1) Getting the game indefinately. 2) Borrowing WaW from my bro-in-law and trying it out.

whats the story mode going to be like i hope its longer pluss i think you should get trophics (or what every xbox thing is)for online like get 10 kill with any wepion " 25 " " "50" "100" and s on or head shots or perks upgrades stuff like that
Oh! By the way. Specific ways of killing people also gets different amounts of points. Where in MW2 a headshot would achieve you an extra 50 experience points, a headshot in Black Ops will also benefit the amount of points you need to win the game.
