But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.
What a joke. So movies are unarguably sacrosanct when it comes to gore. When you begin doing it with animations and pixels, it becomes too gory and has to be removed, meh, what's the world coming to? :-/

Oh for Gods sake! Is anyone aware that this is 18+? Right? It is 18+ right? Even if it weren't they should just tune up the age rating.
And yes, I know no one looks at them but the point of age rating is usually to determine whether or not someone can play it. Given that the 'nag power' of children will be powerful enough for a Call of Duty Game, they NERFED (yes, this is correct in context, Elitemagical) their own game.

And the fact that people thought it was being taken too far. Tell me, who would this be? The mothers of the spoilt children who nerdrage on CoD or the good players who has to be a douche and try undermining the game so others will leave? Thus not a good player.
I doubt an average CoD player would report any of this, it's kind of obvious.

1) Nice one Treyarch, caving in. 2) Nice parents, you couldn't be bothered directly interfering with your childs session because you didn't discipline him enough, so instead you try driving away from it? Yeah, thoughtful of you. 3) Nice one reporters, for whatever reason you thought this was necessary because, honestly, it isn't. If there are graphics which will be too graphic for specific people, then why not have an option for it?
Just so you know, this isn't aimed at all of the people related to these categories, or no one in these categories (though this is highly unlikely). Meh. I'm getting SCII and AoEO anyway.

If this decision was dictated by over-concerned parents they should either stop being so worried about exposure to the real world or start intervening with their child's hours on the game instead of taking it right to the top (and over the top!)
When I first played the airport scence I felt sick mainly for the reason that these people could not fight back, but I kept my finger on the trigger I'm a soldier and stuff happens, later replaying that level after a few weeks, it occured to me that it's just a video game.

Treyarch only announced that there would be Vietnamese and Cuban environments, I think it was a hasty assumption made by the community that started this rumour. I've not seen a single gameplay video or cinematic that indicates the game being set before modern days.

I think I'm waiting for the prices to drop, or until Xmas. Or if we go around looking at stores for it. Thank you Elitemagical, for highlighting the GAME store for SCII for me. I'll try it for CoD: BO as well.
