Personally I think Black Ops is gonna be sweet, but then agian I will eat up anything that says Call of Duty on the box. It is my favorite series of all time because I really like fps games. But I want to know what other people think of this game, are you excited or annoyed? Do you like Treyarch or are they just getting money by trailing Infinity Ward's smash-hits? How do you feel about anything relating to Call of Duty? I just ask you don't start complaining about noob-tubes and other very specific things in the games, that ruins every good discussion. Thanks!
I'm excited for Black Ops and I love Treyarch because of the fact that they listen to the community. NEVER, EVER say that Treyarch is just trying to get money, because they aren't like the greedy idiots over at IW.
But personally, I think Treyarch is trying to change the Call of Duty Series completely with stuff like different ammo and the fact that they're introducing a new knife that can shoot a blade, and a crossbow. Also sprinting then instantly going prone.
They're also going to include the M16 which I think is game-breaking in Mw2 and CoD4, because it does like 33.3 damage per bullet which is a 1 burst kill, it kills in like 1 second.
I hate Mw2, so Black Ops better be GOTY or it would be another game in the dust. I'm also not reserving it unless you get the beta by reserving it. I reserved Mw2, and look how that turned out.
It's also cool there are single player missions that are being built around, meaning that the people making the Multiplayer over at Treyarch were one step ahead and they're very dedicated. Also, I'm happy for Elitemagical because of the fact that Josh Olin keeps wearing a shirt that says "Dedicated Servers." lol
I dont think treyarch is money grabbing and i like them very much too. I just want to know what everyone thinks of black ops. I am very excited for Black ops and i think world at war was a great game too.
It's made by Treyarch. That means I automatically dislike it.
No offense but I hate people like you. It doesn't really matter who makes a game, because you don't know what it's going to be like. If it's the best selling game of all time and GOTY, you would still hate it just because it's made by Treyarch.

No offense, but I've played my share of first person games, and I have my preferences.
You can believe all you want that I have no idea what Treyarch does, and that I dislike it because I'm a IW homer. I've played my share of Treyarch games as well, and I must say I believe those to be utter crap.
And, yes, I will hate it if it game of the year, and yes, because it's made by Treyarch. Why? Because I don't believe they should be making FPS, I think their games are below par, and worthless.
I love both, they both offer different gameplay which i love. It does annoy me the way that Infiniaty ward is acting but im still going to play MW2 also i loved WAW so i will be getting black ops, i have been following the game since the first one and both game companies still havent let me down. YET!
first of all i like treyarch, less than infinity ward. but i still think they are good and have a good approach on things.
remember how in WAW you could get +2, +4, +6, or +8 when you got an assist instead of the consistent +2 (or in mw2 cas +20). I liked that. i hated waw until i played HQ, man that was fun, and i got so much XP too. Cod only gets boring if your a loser playing alone in a non-objective game type.
anyways. treyarch are no pioneers they change the gameplay minimaly and don't take much chances and add much (unlike infinity ward who added almost 3x the stuff waw or cod4 had.
to keep it short the last thing i will say is: It has to have some sort of nazi zombies thing or i ain't buying it.
