Since this is coming up in the WERP I thought it might be funny for everyone to take and talk about. Not sure how serious this topic will get beyond "I'm X on the scale", so it's going in here.

If it's your first time there read the front page, the actual test is linked in there side bar to the left just under Home.

Here's where I sit.

I think it might be good to look at other quizzes of these kinds. We might find something better.

There are only three conservatives that took this test.

Even the "conservatives" here, are somewhat moderate.

Yet the WEPR has so much debate in it, it really does show how much our views differ even when our basic principles are so alike. Don't you love it when people state the obvious?

I know this can be done automatically on facebook, but major props would go to the person who actually kept track of all the points to see if any clusters form...

I could do that. We'd need more people to do the test though.

Here's mine. Really what I was expecting, to be honest, because I'm a sort of middle-left loose socialist or heavily regulated capitalist type, depending on your perspective, maaaaaaan.

I do think there's a cluster forming in the general area I landed in, though . . . .

I dunno.

I might have to retake that test again. My original results went slightly deeper into the authoritarian quadrant.

I'm not so sure if I'm so left in real life.

*will retake soon*

Not necessarily accurate, because I had no idea what several of those questions meant.

PossibleInstability's Political Compass.

If that fails then I don't have a solution.

Too lazy to try it a third time.

If you wanted to make it sexy (in a manner of speaking) you could call it the "Ghandi" cluster or the "Dalai Lama" cluster. Personally I'd prefer Ghandi because there's a heck of a lot more controversy about the Dalai Lama's role, motives and his historical context.
