Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.

http://armor.ag/1OfwC Don't Use the Vortex!!!

With a castle name like that, what would you do?

The Vortex can be a very powerful tool. I like to use it to pick up debris and shoot them at a target.

A TORNADO hit the CASTLE

I even marked the spot to aim at.

SSTP, CourtJester and timestables - you guys make a good team. This is all new to me. I am on the road until the weekend. I will check back with you all on Saturday. Happy creating!

Ok CastaicAce. See you later.

The King of Portugal, upset by the fact that we opened a trade route to the Indian and Asian spice market declared war to Spain and launched a joint ATTACK on a SPANISH CASTLE in Seville with his new ally, the SULTAN! Spain being our allied, we have no choice but to declare war on Portugal.

I'm going to have to check this history lesson!!!! Meanwhile, I am reconstructing the Great Wall of China just in case you bring Alexander the Great to the fray!

Well I changed a few historic events to suit my creations.
I usually create something then I improvise a story but now I'm getting myself confused.

I'm too busy to finish this history lesson so, SSTG, here is a template and I suggest you google China Wall and see where I'm coming from...

The structure on the right is a guardhouse and you could put a door to the far right in lieu of the window. The trick, is to spin the structure, using the background pic to have a 3-d view and place people on the background pic stairs as it were.

It is difficult I know and will take me a week to develop but, give it a shot! I still have the code so, if I find time, I will show you what I mean unless you make it dude!

As a reprisal for the destruction of the Spanish Castle in Seville, we laid siege on the PORTUGUESE FORTRESS of ADEN which protect a strategic port linking the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea. Once we control this important outpost, we will be able to launch attacks against the Ottoman merchant and war fleets that enters the gulf.

I've already made a Wall of China featuring Marco Polo (check the previous pages).

I'll check that code and see what I can do but right now I need a break. My brain has been working hard today.

PS - it appears the Mongols are digging a tunnel to break thru the wall! They are using dynamite to clear the path - something may go amiss if it gets cold or warm!

He he he - I'll finish it by the weekend - I have to draw it up first then try to implement the 3-d illusion. It is too bad I can't change the color of the elements nor modify the background pic to match my ground profile otherwise it would be a piece of cake...

Even though I don't know that much about Medieval History as opposed to Ancient History, what got me interested in this period is the Romance of The Three Kingdom and Uncharted Waters series on NES & SNES by Koei. I bought the unabridged translation of Romance of the Three Kingdom (author, Luo Guanzhong) by Moss Roberts in 4 volumes (I loved it).
After that I started reading books about medieval trading (I've already told you about it in a previous thread) and now that I found this Crush The Castle 2 game I'm totally hooked! I enjoy this game as much as I love the Age of Empire series ( I ordered AOE3 with all the add-ons BTW).
I think I got you (CourtJester) started as well because of those stories.

I can't wait for CTC3 to be released. I hope it's better or as good as this current version.

@valboss - I've seen some of stormbringer's stuff and it looks like he has checked out this thread to develop the long element. Maybe he will join us!!!!

Kewl! Hey - have you checked out that thread I gave you for the original ctc? Charlesme was an original CTC tester and has some magical stuff as of late and, a lot of stuff prior...
