ive been trying for an hour to figure out how to change the terrain and foreground to ocean - plus i cant figure out how to raise the foreground


The changes don't appears on building mode, only when settle or play. I particulary build the castle and after this I change the terrain and/or foregrounds. Always the game crashes when I change them before.

If you change the terrain, remember that you are hacking Joey's code intent. He couldn't believe what we were doing with code changes! However, it will only show up in play mode and if you modify the map after you have changed the terrain, the screen may go black and lock up. That is the nature of the beast.

You can make normal elements as thin as 0.1 and as long as you want like 11.5 but not in the game editor. They are very difficult to work with at that size. You can also put people behind the trebuchet or even under it. If you place long elements at either end of the screen and settle, normally they will disappear when you settle because there is an abyss at either end. If you place a character too far to the right or left, it may die twice

There is also an invisible wall in front of the trebuchet where anything that touches it is destroyed. I made a wall 1500 pixels high and angled it slightly towards the trebuchet with people on top. They all died twice! ha ha ha

PS, Don't shoot until you see the wall disappear. Try to get them with a stick of wood! I like minimalism!

Load it by importing. You will have water. Do not build on this template I have given you as your screen may lock up. Once you have built your creation, export the code to a text editor and change the first 3 codes under "l" to :["bt","bt","bt","wc","id"] and you will have water. Copy that code into your game but do not modify it after as it might lock up. Make sure you have finished your map before modifying background screens. Good luck!

If you hit the piece of wood in a certain way with a BFR, the Jester will fly forward and die on the Trebuchet.
