Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.
I was thinking about adding a feature that when you share a castle, you can check a checkbox that allows other players to "copy" it to their saved castles to be edited later. This will only be for those who are generous about their creations, but it would allow other players to use your castle as a base for their creation. Would this be something you guys would be interested in?
That's an interesting idea but I have to say that personally I don't think it's necessary because 1) it would be used very rarely and, 2) As long as people still have access to the code we can use that to work together on a level.
Usually when someone makes a level they feel a sense of ownership of it - the last thing they want is somebody else changing it. In all this time there have only been a couple of occasions where people were sharing code. Those were fun group challenges, but they didn't last long and were very much the exception. I think the urge is normally to make something all by yourself then show it off to others.
As long as there isn't a radical change in how we can access codes (say it ain't so Joe) it seems that it would add complication with a feature that would rarely be used while the function could be done with the code. Just my opinion, of course.
You've got to get the links to your levels. When you submit a level you can click 'Copy Link', then paste it here or to a document to save it. If you didn't do that and you're using the Players Pack you can go to 'My Castles' and click the 'i'. If that doesn't work or you're using CtC2 you're going to have to find your level in the People's Empire and click the 'i' next to it. I should have put directions about this kind of stuff on the front page.
- Don't forget: the only way to be sure that you're never going to lose your stuff is to save the code as well as the link to your creations.

I personally don't care for this feature because I won't use it at all. This is one the things I hate about Viking Vengeance, the fact that someone can easily copy your idea and make it their own. As long as it's optional I don't mind though.
Could somebody help me to confirm the stickiness in the full screen toggle on CtC2 and the Players Pack? When I try to toggle to full screen It doesn't respond - I have to right click and press 'full screen' many times. It's different on Firefox and Chrome. Playing CtC2 on Firefox I have to click around 5 times, every time. On Chrome I have to click up to 20-30 times to full screen, but after the first time it works with just one click. I actually prefer this option. The Players Pack needs only half as many clicks. Oh, yeah: this is mostly a problem because I can't save to a new name or export in full screen mode.
To be clear, I'm not asking for a fix of this. Remember this is flash; trying to stick a wrench in there to fix something is likely to cause other problems. Even if everyone is having this full screen issue the game is still functional, it doesn't warrant any potentially dangerous actions. Maybe Joey has a clear and simple fix though.
Anyway it's just something to keep in mind for CtC3. I hope there's a full screen, it's obviously a kick butt feature

What is up with this site? For a while I was clearing my cache constantly - before posting, then after to see new posts. Even this isn't working so well now. It's getting hard to post anything or even view the latest posts. I know retrophil12 was having problems before, is it just some people some of the time?

I have the same problem. I have to try and try again until it gets to fullscreen. It's a little annoying.
When you add a realistic looking fortress with those catapults it makes a stunning display but not as many people will play and like it because they are retarded. Only those who appreciate the effort and the art will like it but for me that's the most important.
Sometimes when a castle looks very realistic it makes me want to only use bombs to destroy it even though it takes more shots. It's more fun this way but most players don't like it when it takes more than one shot to crush it.
