i dont get it - i build castles just as well as SSTG, but yet my like ratio is lower?
I don't know what you mean? Your creations are always on top or close to it everyday and weekly. Maybe my fans are more active during the night and yours during the day.
Both you and SSTG have created some great structures fully detailed albeit with some lag. Sometimes though Theo, you put out a bunch of castles in a row and thin out the voting. The minions will like one of them better than the others is my guess... I dunno, I have been putting out crap and they are at the top of This Week's list!

Also, I post links of my new stuff to people on my friend's list and I also put the links on my page. And lastly, my castles rarely hit 1000 plays. It seem that the more play you get, the lower your play/like ratio will be.
Did you guys notice that many more builders take the time to make visually nice creations? I think we have something to do with it. I always vote a couple times on the nicely built castles. I don't know if liking twice someone's creation actually count though. I don't mean in a row but like it now and then 2 hours later like it again. Anyway I think it's great that more good stuff is showing up in the PE.
@SSTG - If you are logged on, you can only vote once no matter what time frame has elapsed. However, if you log off, and go back into the PE, you can vote again using the same computer. If you go to another computer, load up the program, and log off again, you can vote again. I think it has to do with IP addresses or something or even computer name. A bit of a flaw in Joey's voting system!
Yes there are a few people like turmix, gamb(something) and pa4o who make some nice stuff. Some copy your style and others copy Theo's style but, some effort has been made in these creations!
The ultimate problem is always the lag. To create depth, shades and realistic effects I have to use lot of stones. It looks good in the end but it's not fun to crush. It's hard to keep a balance between both. I've always been fascinated with architecture and when I was kid, I rode my crappy bike all over Montreal to take pictures of churches and Victorian buildings (western part) mostly built by the American architect Homestead. When you visit both New York and Montreal, you can recognize his style. After that I built Lego castles so I never stopped reading, drawing and building them. I'm really thankful for the CTC series. I can't wait for the next version because I'm seriously running out of ideas. I get to the point where I repeat myself and I hate that.
