Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.
Following the destruction of his cousin Castle, the King had a premonition about his own doom. As he was telling to his wife the Queen, he saw a DEADLY FOG descending from the Mountain. :O
Here's a castle I made in my sleep. http://armor.ag/1PKfU It's funny because I don't remember creating it and the style is similar to the ones Court Jester makes.
The disasters kept coming and created havoc in the Kingdom. All of it started with the Court Jester who found the Necronomicon and timestables the Wizard who read an excerpt but all wasn't lost. SSTG and valboss who were transformed into a snake and a mouse by Trimegistus were able to escape. After a few days running and sliding in the desert, they arrived at the house of the CastaicAce Knight who sworn he would help them put an end to this ANCIENT DEMON CHAOS .
Nice diatribe SSTG. BTW, as you have noticed that Valboss84 has imitated my floor between terrain stuff there is a trick to doing that kind of stuff. Mainly, if you put the stick there via an outside editor, you cannot place anything else on the level because the stick will jump up to the level of the terrain where it fits.
What you do is place the floor as you want it and save on a separate file so you know the Y-coords. Then, with an outside editor, you expand the floor to your liking, load it and play or, check the positioning. Save that to your temporary file. When you are done, replace the floor with two or more floors that fit in your terrain. Then build your castle. When you are finished, go back to your outside editor and remove the temporary floors and replace it with the terrain penetrating floors.
Another way is to modify the terrain (lowering it by the thickness of your penetrating floor) and then place the long element into the level.
My slightly difficult challenge for today. Lob(s) in the Rain. The idea I had was to need to throw (lob)2 sets of 3 stones in quick succession, if you leave the second until the first has caused an explosion, then it is too late. I cannot, myself, quite do it yet. I have submitted it anyway. Good luck.
I use notepad quite a bit to modify the length, height and thickness of certain pieces and also to play with the terrain levels. But I was wondering about that floor going across the mounts. When I need to modify a beam, for example, I change it to iron so I can find it in notepad (using the find option); all the iron beam start with bi so I type bi and it finds it for me. Once I modified it I change it back to wood or stone, depending in what material I need it to be.
