Im gonna get the games to as long as we dont have to by the 3DS or whatever. I just got the DSi this year. So far the only 5th gens I like are Zerkrom, that mantis thing and that rock thing in the above pictures.
I agree. The english-dub anime is horrible. Pokemon has a lot of deep features in it that set it apart from being a "little kid game". EVs, IVs, stats, strategy, the intentional or unintentional in-game humor (shorts), breeding, (I LOL when people say "okemanz is gay". Seriously. They have children.) etc.
I agree with wolf. I'm from the generation that actually grew up with it, and back when it first came out it was pretty awesome. I was even into collecting the cards. I grew out of that, but I still love the games. I haven't really played the newer generation games because of my lack of game systems (the only gameboy I have is SP, so I've only played up to Fire Red), but honestly I've seen some of the pokemon from the newer ones and I think it's gotten rather sad. They need to stop ruining the classic pokemon. The show has gotten really bad as well. I actually really liked the first couple of seasons.

I highly recommend you get a DS and buy SoulSilver/HeartGold. It won't only bring back memories of the original Silver and Gold, it's a really great game. I liked it more than Platinum.
And I used to watch the anime. It was really fun. I recently decided to watch one of the episodes and they are hideous.
The new pokemon they have released from Black and White look HORRIBLE.
I wonder if the artist is even trying anymore...

pokemon was pretty awesome in my opinion . Especially the games where fun the 1st and 3rd series where the best imo ( pokemon red blue and yellow and pokemon ruby & sapphire ). I played pokemon ruby actually a lot gotted 9 pokemon lv 100 collected all pokemon etc . Unfortunately some idiot guy stole my bag I had lying around where my gameboy was in with a few games =/ .
i liked pokemon a lot before when i was a few years younger, but now it kinda sucks. nothing has changed. same story line.'new kid gets tp choose pokemon from docter meets ash en travels further
I like pokemon.. the pokemon on the ds is pretty addicting, but all the pokemon games (silver/diamant etc etc) look the same, have the same things you have to do but only other pokemon!
i hope there will be a totally new pokemon for the ds!
and pokemon on the tv, it is pretty funny sometimes..
