ok so one of my best friends sorta got into a bit of a fist fight. it ended with me un harmed and him having a bloody nose. both of us pissed as hell.

he left my party went home, i cooled down sorta was like ok well be fine in like a day, then his mom comes running towards me out of her car yelling, "hes coming up with a wrench i couldnt stop him!" and then i see him running around the corner running at me with a wrench trying to kill me.

i couldnt believe it.... it went way farther then it needed to go. not that many punches were thrown anyway.

so i booked it out of there running through the neighborhoods through corners. apparently he stopped soon after i turned a corner and dropped the wrench and broke into tears embarrassed. and i ran so far so fast that i was completly lost.

so i hitched a ride from a dude who was more then happy to take me back to my party knowing that i almost died. as soon as he dropped me back off, the person who tried to kill me just left.

he came back later and apologized, and i pretended to be cool you know. but i really cant forgive him when he tried to kill me. its impossible to avoid him, but honestly i hate seeing him now.

i guess what im trying to get at is, am i wrong for completly not wanting anything to do with him? am i wrong for having him dead to me inside?

I doubt he was really going to kill you, people do irrational things when they're angry and it seems like this hasn't happened before I say you give him another chance.

Get your gun and shoot him in the head. If he did it once he can do it again.

Just kidding, I'd forgive him. No point in not, right? A one time thing is a one time thing.

Second chances are good, but I guess when people made that principle they weren't thinking about some dude coming at you with a wrench, the principle probably doesn't apply in this situation, my opinion though. It would probably be a while before I would be able to truly forgive him. But in the ned yes you probably should give him a second chance.

Great story man! Fantastic! Just epic! I couldn't understand how you came up with it? This really does belong in the Ar, Music, and Books section, though.

Play nice Kevin, he should at least get our trust until he gives us a reason not to trust him.

its a true story lol. happened a woping 3 days ago. ya ill probably end up forgiving him eventually cause its impossible not to see him like everyday. but ya its really akward having him at my house the day after..... and the day after that.

i just feel like things went way to far because of his immaturity.

well what happened was we were messing around and then things jsut sorta got outa control. hes more of a hot head then me. i try not to fight, he always tries to fight. which is weird casue ive had mroe fighting experience then hes ever had 0_o.

he five star'd my back when i didnt have my shirt on, then he shot me in the back. i knew he was just joking around, and as guys you know we do this tuff all the time. thats why I learned never to take much stuff seriously. i kicked him in the nuts cause he shot me with an airsoft gun in my bear back lol. hes done it to me before, and it was ALL JOKINGLY. he flipped out started swinging at me. so i punched him in the face so hed get the hell off at me. all the people at the party broke it up, he came running at me again before he left, then i kicked him in the gut, he stormed off home pissed as hell, then next thing i know he came back with a wrench

Well this is just him being aggressive, nothing life-altering. He was really streamed about the confrontation at the party, and he overreacted. The fact that he dropped the wrench and cried shows I think that he would not have acted upon his anger if he'd reach you. I'd suggest you sit down with him in private and really find out what he was thinking. It would be crushing for him to lose a friend over some stupid incident at a party, I say give him a second chance, that's what friends are for.

Oh you completely deserved it! Short of getting into a one-night stand with your [insert random female relative] and breaking her heart. You don't hit a guy in the balls!

Really, cause the way I see it, he overreacted but your dumbass was the one sitting their taunting him in the first place. Next to that, I t would make it easier for me too believe you if you weren't praising your self the entire time. You're lucky he used a stick, and not something that could've seriously injured or worse killed you.

Santos: Getting kicked in the balls hurts a lot more than an aerosoft in the back.
