what are some genres that you like but dont see as much of now? i think they should have more horror games like the old school silent hill and resident evil 1 without the stupid comedy stuff like dead rising (although it was a fun game)

I'm a huge fan of open ended and open world RPGs. When I buy a game I tend to plan on putting a lot of time into it, especially given the cost. I think that's why I'm more draw to the 'epic' type RPG games. There is just much to do that I don't feel let down by the time I've done it all. Shooters and action games are fun for a bit, but I can rent them and have them beat in 2 or 3 days, that's just not worth it to me.

No...

RPG's as MRWalker82 said above me. I might get 2 Worlds if I like what I see when I look it up on Wikipedia now (Said to be better than Fable, so...)

But I still think they need more RTS's for the awesome (and superior in oh so many ways) PC.

The real question is, what genre of games should there be less of?


FPS's that only deals with killing other people. No sense of adventure at ALL.

There should be more open world/adventure games. Mostly open world though, like Fallout 3 and Red Dead Redemption.

RDR & GTA is probably enough for me, though I would like to see a different version of it, because it's the same basis

More RTS...I like this games but i found 4 or 5 games with races/factions...i like these things in every RTS games....

Hehe yeah, but I only tend go see RTS's with 3 factions, except AoE which had tons of little-changed factions

Not fond of platformers that much, if I went back and played Mario then probably yeah I'd love it. And yes, I think we need some more RPG Platformers and RTS's, other than that, nothing
