This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
theres a lot that i dont know like where some things do and dont go. but ill tell you this everything will go amist when the bread maker sells his dough
The man walks slowly on the ground He forgot his hat so he turned around Upon twisting he saw something very profound The thing he saw was a huge, smoking clown!
sometimes i just wanna curl up and stop for a thousand years... 'cus maybe when i wake up there will be no-more tears... theres also nothing else to do... maybe it will make me stop missing you...
since the above seems to be song lyrics i think, i shall go with the above above.
All i saw was darkness as i fell through outer space i'd been shot with a lazer gun from no other time or place from then those EVIL lumpy blob creatures who floated up to my door and kicked me through the hallway wall and clear through the windows nextdoor.
I took out my brand new army boots, And shuddered with a shiver. How long ago Had that message been delivered? We were young but we became old. We knew he wasn't coming back, Without being told. Mom wasn't the same anymore, And my brothers turned bleak. But when I walk out of this door, It isn't revenge I seek. I put on my new army boots, And promised myself I'd be back. Eventually I returned, But my world was pitch black.
I could face it if I could, I would defeat it. I should. But how can I when the shadows cloud me? When will I be released from this worry? No one can save me now. No one knows how. I am all alone.
and time will show what have you done you'll have to choose the sword or the gun you'll have to choose pastor or nun you might meet your wife you might meet your son but when that day comes you'll never ever see the sun. and when they put noose around your neck you'll want to hide, you'll want to run and when you fall from deck you might break your neck if not you poor bast ard you'll strangle to death your tongue will come out your neck will be streched on your tombstone these words will be etched "here lies the man"
Here lies the man. The man that ruined my life. The man that tore the tears out of my eyes. The man that didn't care if I cried. The man that thought my pain was funny. The man that didn't care for money. The man that only needed to see pain. The man who I would've liked to maim. The man who needed to go away. The man that would hurt me with what he would say. The man that, at night, would make me turn and toss. The man that when I think of him... I feel a loss.
