This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
The night symphony begins, when the clock strikes midnight with a slow melancholy gong. Then comes a sound, A low chilling sound. Bones suddenly rattle and begin jumping around, the dead begin to rise and make a blood-chilling sound. Until finally the clock strikes morning, and a ray of morning light, peeks over the mountains and the frightening, but beautiful night symphony is finally over. The dead go back into there long forgotten graves, and all is quiet again. Until the next day, when the clock strikes midnight again.
My hands are the evening sky, Folding up the stars and making them cry, The twinkle of light that makes angels fly, And embraces our souls when we die.
My insanity is unparalleled in this dream of mine This chill, this glee, running through my spine. Their bodies hit the floor As an unrestrained laugh rips itself from my core I hold the power of life or death in my hands You must beg and plead to change my plans
You pathetic, sniveling scoundrel You don't deserve to live I'll end your life now This is simply how it is.
Carry on from this day forward the weight of millions of people's dreams, but be extremely careful among the dead for they will anguish you with their piercing screams. In the end, through out your misery you will soon succeed.
