They are the main things preventing a nuclear war... Why? Nobody is going to want to launch nukes knowing that everyone else will also. Nobody is stupid enough to use them, thankfully.
All that they are used for now is as a psychological weapon.
i would erase all hatred in the world, if everyone liked each other there would be loads less war or it would just stop war completely. It would also make the world a happier place and make everyone live happier better lives.
Hate is the opposite of love and as such they are connected; erasing hate would erase love.
I would happily remove the human nature to grasp onto old traditions and thought processes and our ability to put these things over building a better future.
So we couldn't simply exist on the a shorter spectrum of say indifference to love?
No, it isn't logical that we would stop at a point of indifference. It would be able to, perhaps, erase hate for a few generations but someone would inevitably realize there is something more extreme than indifference in due time.
