I have searched for polls on internet to see this but havnt found any popular ones, so i decided to put this here to get an idea of what people like best. I think it would be cool if this site had like weekly polls though that would be cool. Also i used the forum search to check if this already existed, all i found was Pizza vs Burger o.O
Personally i think mustard beats ketchup all they way. The ONLY time i eat ketchup is on hashbrowns and french fries, sometimes i eat mustard with french fries instead. In terms of heath mustard wins exept that it has a ton of sodium.
Ok so i want to know now what you people prefer, as i say am Mustard FTW!
@alt: I suppose we'll just have to agree to use our own dictionaries then, even though my definition has been around longer, I concede that ketchup is now predominantly used as reference to tomato ketchup.
We all have different taste buds, so saying any one has more confectionery uses than another is a little pointless.
Well, old mushroom ketchup really isn't around any more, and isn't all that relevant. Even banana ketchup is tomato-based. But I do see where you're coming from.
I just chose mustard because it's more versatile as a whole.
I pick mustard all the way. I mean its good with burgers,hot dogs, corn dogs, fries, eggs(kinda weird soundin but amazing to me XD), potato chips, its also a major ingredient in my mom's deviled eggs(another weird thing to put huh?)and I'm judt talking bout yellow mustard. I prefer honey mustard with my chicken and certain types of fish/sea foods. and then i got my Dijon mustard for my salads.
I have to appreciate mustard for its variety, but ketchup just slightly takes the cake here for me. I love ketchup. I eat it with a lot of things. Only somewhat more than mustard, though I do love mustard too.
I don't like mustard, but thats only plane yellow mustard, and I've tasted Dijon mustard too, but I didn't like it..
Well, ketchup would win for me, I've always liked ketchup and I eat it with quite a few things. The down side is that it's so sweet. But it's still better that mustard.
