olderr games are hands down harder. pretty much all of them for the NES

Games on older consoles were made to punish you! Some of them being impossible without a guide (some of them still screwing you over even with one).

You should make the eras you want to compare clear. I have no idea if you are talking about Ps1/N64, Ps2/GC/Xbox or the days before 3d.

The oldergames are harder. You have to think and sometimes the puzzles in them became a group project. At my house we do still play some of the older games and the five of us have to sit and think together to get through some of the puzzles.

gotta agree with WarBuddy it's being done for casual gamers i just went back to playing old games and i realized how much worse i am at them then when I was much younger.

Older games, because you didn't have a walktrough or so, you just had to figure everything out your own! but it was fun to do

but the old games were awesome and challenging i still can't beat world 8-2 in Super mario brothers and i still didn't beat legend of zelda 1

Older for sure back in the day they were meant to be hard so you would be infuriated and have a drive to beat it smash your controller and yell TAKE THAT MUTHA***** nowadays they are meant to be easy so you don't break things and bragging rights are completely non existant... even ps1 though they got a little bit easier than stuff like SNES etc.
