Okay, I got an mp3 a few weeks back, and I love it. I downloaded a lot of songs to it. I need some ideas for songs. They need to either be hiphop, rock, punk rock, rap, pop (the good kind), stuff like that. I have a bazillion songs from eminem and rise against, so none from those bands. I NEED MORE SONGS! But I can't think of any more good ones.
I agree with Frettt. Check out breaking Benjamin. But also get the Pink Floyd albums Meddle, Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, A Momemtary Lapse of Reason, and The Division Bell. After that, get some Pearl Jam.
Ew. I can't stand slipknot. No offense. And they're not metal.
Anyways, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Muse, and GN'R are all great suggestions. Assassin, have you heard the Muse song Knights of Cydonia? Very epic instrumentals.
Also, try some Nirvana. They're not really metal but they can be pretty heavy, especially their first album. Nevermind is and always will be an epic classic. I reccomend Smells Like Teen Spirit, In Bloom, Heart Shaped Box, and their live songs from Live at Reading and Unplugged.
One more thing: Led Zeppelin. Listen to like, everything from Led Zeppelin IV, Nobody's Fault but Mine (Presence), the live version of Dazed and Confused from The Song Remains The Same soundtrack, The Crunge, The Ocean, (Houses of the Holy) and Kashmir (Physical Graffiti). All great songs.

If you want to play non-mainstream music that people never have heard of before in the U.S (or anywhere on the east side), plus have an affinity for wars, then you should listen to some Sabaton music. They are, quite literally, the best metal band in Europe.

As of hiphop, I suggest generally staying from the mainstream stuff Except for eEminem <3. Listen to his album if you haven't. Especially the songs Space Bound, Not Afraid, and Almost Famous )
