I mean of course there are singing teachers giving lessons and all but does that really work? Is it really possible to learn how to sing or are the classes ripoffs. Singing is usually described as something that comes naturally, right? But things that come naturally aren't learnable, or are they? You can't learn how to breath, but is breathing in the same category as singing? I was just wondering if it (singing lessons) is actually worth the money and stuff (sorry about the vague adjectives I like them). Anyways please state your opinion, for the following question, which I keep repeating, because I like repeating questions, and commas, I like commas, anyways, I'm getting off subject here, opinions on the following question, which I am now going to repeat, right now, now. Is it really possible to learn how to sing?
Yes my friend, singing is easy, I'm naturally good. though if it's not natural you should take lessons and it's possible, how do you think people got good
What you are born with is a voice - it can be well suited for singing from the beginning, or it can be absolutely horribly for song, but I don't believe anyone's naturally predisposed to be an absolutely awesome singer.
It comes with practice, just like other arts.
Singing lessons can provide some valuable techniques and teach you how to do things with your voice you possibly wouldn't have thought of to do on your own. They're not required to sing well - but practice is.
Not sure lessons can make a fail singer a good singer, but they can improve on the skill there is.

They say practice makes perfect, but my singing is horrible. I think that learning to sing is quite possible, but it's just going to take a long time. I wouldn't bother.

You can have a good voice naturally but you need practice and lessons to use it. Singing is very difficult. You still have to know music theory just like any other instrument and be able to perform and hit difficult notes.
Although anyone can sing the "Larv oh larv" song Germany put on eurovision...
It's a talent. You can practice all you want, but if you don't have the necessary control and decent vocal cords, you will never grow to be more than an average singer. It's really sad, but it involves something that requires natural talent.
I can hum -humm-. Better as in not completely suckish like I am atm. I don't have a naturally good voice, so I guess lessons it is. @Google567 If it is a gift, then it is unlearnable?
@Firetail. So I can be the next Justin Beiber haha jk. Idk I just felt like it, I sing in the shower haha. My voice sound awesome(in the shower), and of course I'm wiling to learn btw, check my profile for my age. Because that's not something I want to put in the forums but yeah.
