I was watching the Colbert Report and on his "Emergency Thought for food" segment He said there was "research" being done to put sandwiches into cans.

I'm not sure what to think, a Sandwich is not exactly "canable" and if it supposed to a drink then....Well...no comment

What do you think?

It preserves them better

Erm, why would we need to preserve sandwiches? There's something called a refrigerator...

Perhaps these Candwhichs would be sent to the military via planes and such.

The reason no one likes this product is because its for people that are so fat and lazy that they can't even use a computer. Other wise known as 25% of people.

It looks like a joke. How do you pull a block of food out of a can with those kinds of openers?

I was suspecting that.

Eh, that's just unappetizing.

Or they have smashed the sandwich to something looking like baby food. And then you press/push it out like toothpaste. (This is simply a theory).

33% Can, 30% Bread, 37% Liquid. That probably how it works

That is NASTY!!! I would never drink that. I suppose it is good for people to lazy to make a real sandwich. But, still who would they market that to? Most people would be afraid to try it.

The Colbert Report doesn't come on on friday...
Sorry 'bout the double post.

Well, it doesn't. But it wasn't new. It was a rerun that happened to be on that day in my area(idk if they program it like that everywhere). So that should clear that up, I think.
