i would have to choose nickelodeon for their large amount of shows that i still find hilarious. disney had some good shows, however i really dislike many of the live action they've been broadcasting. the only one i can stand is iCarly. cartoon network has always been my favourite, however they have been on the decline lately. the only shows that i watch anymore now off that channel are chowder and adventure time, the other shows like total drama action/drama are watchable as they have more content for an older audience such as i but i have to be in the mood to actually enjoy it. the reason i chose nick, is that it is rare for me to change it to nick and find nothing on that i enjoy (plus some of my all time cartoons were broadcasted off nick it being Avatar: last airbender)

however since my first time watching foxtel, i've always turned it to cartoon network. its just times have changed... pity

I don't like any of them, but i tune into CN just for the shows like Adventure Time, Regular show, and.....that's it. And adult swim occasionally.
BTW, this thread is 7 months old exactly. XD

Disney. Fairly Odd Parents FTW!

Fairly Odd Parents is a Nickelodeon show. If you were still an active user here, I'd make you change your choice.

I'm going to go with Nick on this one. I wish they'd bring back shows like The Amanda Show and All That. Those were classic.

The only one of those i wouldn't want back would be Hey Arnold. Oh how i hated that show.

Not Disney... That's the forbidden word...

I'd say Nick because they had Yu-Gi-Oh! on that station oh so long ago... Even if they've comepletely ruined their industry since.

Yu-Gi-Oh......god how I hated that show. Just another one of the lame shows based on a card game. Nick doesn't really produce anything worthwhile anymore, besides spongebob and P&P.

All three of those networks have pretty much turned into cluster flops, but if I had to choose one to keep I'd say Cartoon Network because there are a handful of decent action shows on Friday, and they're the only people still airing the classic old Looney Toons and Tom And Jerry shows. Other than that, even CN is a just a pit.

You have to admit that the evening shows, Adv. Time and Regular Show, are pretty good and can be hilarious. Chowder was good too, but it seems shows don't last long on CN anymore.

I'm probably showing my age, but anyone remember Nick in the Mime/Silver Ball/Warner Amex years?

It was mostly edutainment back then, with a lot of British and Canadian import shows. Oddly it appealed to my nerd/geek kid side back in the day. And BION, very early on it had NO commercials. Just a mime (and a solitary gloved hand) doing performances and promo spots between shows.

Even after MTV bought it and it went Orange Splat, it had some good stuff. Doug, Dangermouse, Double Dare, and Are You Afraid of the Dark? come to mind right away.

Cartoon Network was pretty good, too, back in the late 90s and the Turn of the Millennium. Old WB and MGM classics never go bad, and Toonami rocked. And even some of the Cartoon Cartoons were great. (Johnny Bravo's first season and The Powerpuff Girls come to mind.) And Bruce Timm's DC superheroes (Batman the Animated Series, Superman, Justice League)... those rocked.

Now ever since I've gone to China, and looked back via the Internet. Bfeh. Nothing there now. Nick's a loss. Virtually all the good CN stuff I loved is now on Boomerang.

To be honest, since Disney was a premium channel back in the day, and I avoided the company for my own reasons, I never watched their shows. So I can't comment on them fairly.

Nickelodeon

never realy watched it. wasn't that fun.

Cartoon Network

i realy liked programes as "johnny bravo" "dexters lab" "cow and chicken" and "ed edd and eddy" but i havn't watched cartooon network anymore the last 8 year or so.

Disney

well disney... wich disney?
old cartoon of walter disney himself? (i loved those)
cartoons whit walt disneys original characters like donald duck, goofy, "ducktales"? (i usualy still like those)
1980-2000 cartoons like aladin, Sleeping Beauty, peter pan, Beauty and the Beast, pinocchio? (i realy liked them at the time, but can't stand them anymore today.)
new computer animated movies: all since "Finding Nemo" or somwhere close. (some are realy great like ice age. some are just stupid)

the end score from what ive seen from those producers:

cartoon network has overall the most great shows compared to the amount of shows that they made.
but disney has the most great shows in total. but that is mostly because they are being made for almost 100 year already.
nickelodeon... well no it's going to end up last. and if i realy have to choose between disney or CN then it will be disney because they have just this ****-load of great shows in stock.

First Ice Age was awesome. The ones after that, not so much.

I'd say Disney, simply becuase the old 'Steam Boat Willy' stuff is awesome. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who knows who Mortimer is anymore though. :/

Ice Age wasn't Disney. It was Blue Sky Studios, a subsidiary of 20th Century Fox.

Anyway, I like Pixar a lot because they keep enough humor for kids and more than enough plot for adults, so for movies, Disney wins.

For TV today, none are that great anymore. Nick has nothing great anymore, even SpongeBob has turned from funny and lewd to just plain stupid. CARTOON network is starting to focus on live action shows. Disney has Phineas & Ferb, which is a beacon of light in the sea of crap, but that's about it. Again Disney wins.

For TV 10-20 years ago, they were all great. Nick had The Amanda Show, SpongeBob, All That, Animaniacs, etc. CN had Dexter's Lab, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, etc. Disney had House of Mouse, Kim Possible, TaleSpin, etc. Nick won back then, but it was close.

Oh noes you're gonna make me hurl >Bleaaaah!< X( Not you, the shows. I'm not being mean here, but I despise those shows with every fiber of my being. They have no plot, no story, and they are comprised of characters that are so easy to hate it's not even funny.
Pretty much the only CN shows that don't induce vomiting are the Friday night lineup, i.e. Generator Rex, Young Justice (BTW who else found 11/4/11's episode a little disturbing?), Star Wars The Clone Wars, Thundercats (most of the time), Ben 10 Ultimate Alien (some of the time), and then the old Looney Toons and Tom and Jerry cartoons that they still show periodically. Other than that, I don't really watch CN anymore.
I do wish though that they'd bring back some of the action shows from what amounts to their "golden years" though. Transformers Armada, Energon, and Cybertron, Zoids, G Gundam, Code Lyoko, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, TMNT, and a few others that have receded into the abyss of time. And Toonami. They need Toonami again. Toonami was cool, and that's not just the shows - anyone remember that spaceship that was Toonami HQ? And I wouldn't complain any if they brought back Miguzi and the old Saturday Video Entertainment System, which was the predecessor to Toonami. CN is just wasting away, and nobody's even trying to stop their free-fall.

Oh, and lose Adult Swim already!!!!!!! All that does is encroach on time that could be used for real shows like I listed above. AS is growing, and it is pouring gasoline on CN's funeral fire.
