In my many hours of using the Internet, I've posted my fair share of forums. But they never went through publishing without being trashed. Allot. For example, a few months back, I made a forum post that was quickly thrown together without consideration of spelling or grammar. But when I checked back, I found a slew of mean comments, the most hurtful of which was 3 paragraphs long, and said "I would rather slit my wrists and put them in hot water than mangle the English language, which you have clearly done" and things of that manner. My point is that there are plenty of mean people who trash the work of 13 years olds. But I ask this: Why would you go to the trouble of trashing someone's work, when you don't even know the author?!?!?!?!? I hope you understand what I'm trying to get through.
holy crap i find youtube horrible for this, almost every comment i leave gets a bad respone eventually. wether it was a good comment or not. Like this fanboy person who said that the ps3 was the best selling console ever. I told him that it wasnt and then posted a list of 13 top selling consoles ever, and he says "how sad now your just making stuff up get a life" And then he says it is all a lie until i tell him where i got it from. I tell him to use google, and he said he spend an hour looking for a site that had a list, and he didnt find it. At that point i just said congratulations and he never responded.

Simple answer: There are no consequences on the internet.
At most, you can lose an account you created. Unless you're being a jerk with illegal stuff, then there's also the cops to worry about if you get tracked down.
Internet tough guys don't realize it doesn't mean anything to have a tough pick-a-fight attitude where interactions are text based. Likewise grammar nazis don't seem to realize that picking someone's text apart doesn't make them epically awesome. It's just how things are online.
Btw, 420 wasn't really a troll. He spammed a whole heck of a lot and suicided dozens of accounts, but didn't really troll.
I hate internet jerks. Don't worry about people who make fun of you in forums, they're just 60 year old pedophiles with no lives. But in something like Facebook, internet bullying is VERY serious. A kid at my school named Nathan is always picked on, and i was looking on his facebook page. Comment after comment of people calling him a loser, a retard, etc. I mean, that stuff can get to you after a while.

Well honestly, why are you gonna bother posting if your not gonna make it worth while? I mean it's really not all that hard to have understandable grammar. I mean I'm not expecting you to sit and proof read what you type, or to be perfect with grammar. But at least make it readable! If your gonna make a large paragraph, and never put a comma, or a period in it, yes where going to get upset.
Next as to why we like to make people feel bad.
Beacsue we can you guys but into it so easily. If you let it go, and didn't do anything (report and move on) It would be no fun for us, however, you get upset, and try and be mean, or what ever, and it makes us laugh really hard, so we keep making you feel dumb, so you get mad, and make topics like this.
So, if you want us to stop, stop complaning, and getting upset. If no one cares, its no fun.

Just because someone (Me) is 13 doesn't mean we have terrible grammar. Your assumption is based on a stereotype. I actually dislike anyone that uses incorrect grammar. I.E.: IAmAce, MAkuech and not to mention KomputerKurt.

Honestly, i could really care less about your grammar. If anyone has a problem with people's grammar, they can go fuck themselfs. Its really dum to insult over little things like that, and just shows that a person has nothing better to do than rip on someone for spelling something wrong.

Dude, those aren't differences between jerks and normal users... Well, except #2. Spammers, maybe, jerks? They can do that sort of stuff, but they won't be known as jerks because of them. Just spammers.
