Have you noticed that you have been coming to AG not for the games anymore but for the forums... its really weird but i haven't played a game for a while
Closing comments can be a good idea if you want to spend more time in the forum, but there are many topics discussed via comments that typically don't have a proper place in the forum
There are also times when you NEED your comments box because certain people like to argue off-topic(ly) in a thread, which doesn't need to be there and can instead be better off in your profile. Not naming you or anyone else, just saying I've seen it before.
I've been entirely posting here. In celebration of getting my computer back after being on vacation, I bought a new PC game to go with it, so whenever I feel like playing a game, I play it, and whenever I'm done with it, I post here. See? Lotsa time lol
Well, yes, but I find these types of conversations can easily be taken to a chatroom.
Ah. I don't really use chatrooms and I don't know of any where one can simply show up and have a semiprivate conversation. I suppose if that were the case perhaps I might use that option. I have seen many people on here referring to going to a chat with other AG members to talk, but I've never known where these rooms are or even if everyone is welcome or not. The only chat rooms I populate are primarily educational in nature and require membership for entry.
I don't have much else to do, whether I be online or just at home. If I'm at home I will watch tv but usually there isn't anything interesting on so I play online while I watch tv. And when I'm online I go here on the forums, I mean Facebook isn't interesting at all. I feel like a complete dork saying this but I spend most of my online time on a forum on a flash game site.
True. I just now closed my comments and plan on getting to 1,000. Before the night is over.
400 posts? In a few hours? Please, no. We wish for no spam.

Some profiles have links to these "chats".
Also, the messengers are in no way private. Anyone can see your conversations.
Well good luck getting to 1,000. I just want to get to 100 by tonight (1.5 hours left)... but it should be really easy, seeing as though I am really close to getting there.

Yus.

Big N-O. Honestly, how are you going to do it? The non-spamming way?

Maybe. But I don't know, I just like closing down my comments.

Oh I know that lol. I was just meaning that typically you don't have to deal with a troll or spammer interjecting. However in chatrooms, unless it is a semiprivate room, I have found that there are often as many trolls/spammers (if not more) that you find in your typical forum thread.
Oh no I promise there will be no spam. I got like 8 hours, that's like 50 post each hour. Probably not gonna happen though.
Even though, it will not be spam. It'll still need substance. Don't rush on getting it. You'll get it eventually.

Yes it will be.

If a troll or spammer bothers you on your profile, you can just ignore him. No need to close down comments. But ti's still your choice. I just like to close my comments. Since, I hardly comment back to people. It's because I'm on a chat, usually.
