I just heard the news, and there is this Islamic man and some crazy story saying that he is Osama Bin Laden's son! I'm not making this up or being like a terrorist, but that it some crazy news!
Ok here's a better worded post for all you capitalists out there.
Did you guys/girls/gender queer folk ever stop and think that there is a reason why Osama is doing the things he is doing? Sure, terrorism is not the way to voice an opinion, but then again no one complained about him when he fought against the Soviet Union and we gave his cronies weapons. I think a lot of people here disregard what and who Osama Bin Laden really is. He wants the United States and any other power to get their influences out of the middle east, I doubt he is just killing people because he has nothing better to do. And if we did execute Osama, he would become a martyr to some and that could perhaps increase terrorism. It's not that simple to say "Yeah let's kill that son of a female dog!". But that does not justify terrorism, Osama Bin Laden might as well be the Che Guevara of the Middle East.
That was avoidable, that should have called into question before the government decided to through weapons at them without half a thought. If they use terrorism against communists invading the Middle East, what exactly would make anyone think that Osama isn't just going to turn around and use it on multinationals in the Middle East?
And this isn't the only time the government didn't do something stupid like backing a brutal cause. In Chile a democraticaly elected communist by the name of Salvador Isabelino Allende was eliminated by a U.S. backed coup only to put a corrupt military dictator, Augusto Pinochet, into power. The U.S. did a lot of things just because it wanted to stop the spread of communism that hurt a lot of other people.
Osama Bin Laden might as well be the Che Guevara of the Middle East.
they definetly used the same methods. and i really do not understand why people like che are popular. i mean starting revolutions and killing people does not sound that cool.

I think I would have to disagree, that's going too far Che was a left wing athiest with compassion for other people, Bin laden is religous fundamentalist which considers American citizens as targets.
This thread is so pointless and fact of the day, Laden was disowned from his family and banished from his country when his terrorist links were discovered.
