Okay, I just want to say, when will people get that irony and sarcasm doesn't have the same meanings?! I mean, it's so easy to understand, you don't need to be Albert Einstein.

An example of irony; "Cats like fish, but hate water". Get it?

You don't even need an example for sarcasm. Sarcasm = saying something but meaning the opposite.

And if you didn't get this, look up this.
And these two; this and this.

Yeaa, there 3 types, irony, sarcasm and cynicism. But i also thought it was kind of obvious:O

irony= funny, not meant to hurt someone
sacrasm= saying the opposite of what you think, you hurt someone
cynism= you don't believe in the human being, you see all the things very negative

It's not as obvious as you think, people completely mix these together.

That's true, even though it's not so hard to remember..

did you know that you don't use about 30% of your brains?

Yes I knew that actually.
I watch allot of Discovery Channel. Hehehe.

On topic again; In some strange way even the smartest people can mix them together.

Sarcasm can be used as a form of joking and is far from always worded in a way that hurts.

I didn't know I had multiple brains :P
But also thought it was a higher percentage of the brain that doesn't get used. Not sure what that proves, though.

I remember something....
I think it was 80% of your brain you don't use...Hmm, let me look that up. *Searching it on Google*

This is an extremely common misconception. We actually use all of our brains. The issue arose from early studies of the brain which suggested that only a small portion of the synapses in our brain are firing at any given moment. While this is true, it doesn't mean that the other areas of the brain are 'unused'.

yea didn't know it for sure anymore haha, but i thought when i say like 80% some may say wow that's way too much.

This is an extremely common misconception.

Hmm yea i just read on the internet that it's a myth.. pretty strange that they say it in things like discovery channel when it isn't true..

That is the part of the brain used for psyonic powers.
That is why you don't use it.

You often hear sarcasm in schools and many other places meant too hurt people.
But it can also be a funny joke that doesn't hurt anyone.

Sarcasm is used in ways to be funny such as with ventriloquist dummies.

Sorry to double post but to add on to my previous post I'd like to say sarcasm is not always ment to be funny but can be used in ways to be hurtful like using a sarcastic tone when telling someone they look nice.

Again with the common misconceptions. You actually use all of your brain. This misconception arose with studies of how much of your brain is active at any given time, which is an amazingly small amount. However you need and use all of it. Although I admit there are people who make me question this...
