I'm pretty burnt out on the series. If treyarch does a good job with black ops, and keeps it interesting, It will bring me back, if they don't, I'll be pissed.
But i like this idea about Civil warfare and all that but if we got like the time of guns such as the ones in the civil war or american revolution wouldn't it take a while to reload the guns? Well of course it is a video game anything can happen but i just like to keep it realistic if it is based on something real. Plus i think bows and swords are better in a 3rd person game in my opinion
Lol, I was joking but people are taking it seriously, I think I should work at Treyarch. It took around 15-20 seconds to reload, even with a partner, but if they put in sleight of hand it would take a mere 7-10 seconds. The thing I really like about the Civil Warfare idea is that there are no automatics!! Which means NO CAMPING NOOBS WITH AUTOMATICS! And the rifles would take so much skill to use especially how they have a 1 bullet clip, so it'd be kinda like a "erfect your shot" game.
why dont they make a call of duty: future warfare, with new and interesting weapons- such as a dart gun that sticks into you then explodes.
Well then Call of Duty would just be kind of ripping off Halo.
And Gears of War, the torque bow is similar to what you described.
And about Civil Warfare, not all weapons back then were single shot, the Henry and Spencer repeaters were lever action rifles with capacities of 15 and 7, respectively.

Someone didn't see the uncut trailer with the crossbow for Black Ops.
Ugh.
My point to be exact.

True, but at least it means no automatic gun using noobs!
