Well i just thought of this. haven't been on AG for a long time, so excuse me if this thread has been made. if it has you can lock it or whatever you do(forgot that too)
I play wow, and on there is badges. these badges are used to buy gear, weapons, materials and other things. and then i thought about AG. what could we use them for. and this could be a long shot, but if the played could get badges for doing things like merits, having a certain amount of points, posts, comments, ratings. So that they could buy special armatars or w/e you call(feel like a noob now) or if AG could possibly do, make layouts for pages so that the user could buy. we could also use these badges or whatever you would end of calling them.
just a thought, elaborate if you want, or lock if its a stupid idea. and I'm coming back probably.
If considered, the AG staff will add it in to 3.0. Being "original" is great and all, but having perks that are similar isn't bad at all. In fact, you could still be original if you had it called something else and having a different concept about the idea.
I don't know about layouts, but I like the thought of 'buying' things with our achievements. Like armatars or different font colors. Not mod or admin colors, but different colors like red or something. It'd be cool.
Well.. it is possible to also add a forum RPG game to it... I used to be part of one so I have experience on it. It can be really fun, but I personally think the public is too young for this.
What about us older members though. We deserve some fun too.
A forum rpg? It's hard to base it on age... Some youngsters have the ability to join it... I was 11 when I started joining a LOTR rpg forum. We had weapons etc... It died only recently, after atleast 10 years of existance... I would've showed you how it would work but it;s gone now. We had weapons, armor and we used text-based fighting and all. It was really original, and it produces somewhat a story of itself. If this gets implemented somehow, I would have plenty of suggestions...
But then again, it is hard to start on on Armorgames, it wouldn't fit here, except in the art section, but to add a forum RPG to that alone... would kind of mix things up. Besides... we need a starting story... I used to do the LOTR stuff, which already had a story written by the Great Tolkien!
I would like the layouts. You already have AP for armatars, but I also like possums idea about font colors. That would be cool. And if you had a certain amount of badges, you could buy an old armatar that isn't up anymore. That would be cool.
