Some of my favorite songs are Sad But True, Master Of Puppets, Fuel, Judas Kiss, and Fight Fire With Fire. What's your fave song, or band?

Hey man metallica is my favourite band by far. I agree with some of those song choices but I don't like sad but true. I would replace it with four horsemen

Probably Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters and Master of Puppets.
Those would be my favourites.

Why is everyone fascinated with Master of Puppets? I'd be interested to know how many of you even know what it's about.

My favorite are Whiplash, Fight Fire With Fire, and Blackened. Any questions, redirect them to the front office.

Matallica is nowhere near the best band ever. Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Journey. Hell, even Disturbed is better than Metallica. Now, I'm not saying Metallica isn't good. Well, wasn't good. But after theur bass player died they went to shit. They were good for awhile though. But they should stop. Or just play a few retro tours. All their old songs.

The album isn't particularly overrated. Most idiots even bother with most of it. The song however, is extremely overrated. In my opinion, worst of the album. Orion and The Thing That Should Not Be make it look like chump change.

I still think its overrated, the only standout tracks are Battery and Damage Inc.

The only song of theirs I've ever liked at one point in my life was "Frantic". It isn't too heavy, and the riff is somewhat catchy.

Also the only Metallica song I've ever been able to distinguish the melody of enough for it to be stuck in my head at certain points.

Nah I can think of a couple heavy metal bands that are better. For the record I have favorites, but I don't think there truly is a best band ever.

Hell, even Disturbed is better than Metallica.


lol Disturbed. They're one of the most boring and generic bands i've ever seen.
Though Metallica is my fave band ever, i can't say they're the best , because i don't think there is one. My favourite 'tallica songs are: Fight Fire With Fire, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Creeping Death, Battery, The Thing That Should Not be, Fade To Black, One, Shortest Straw, Dyers Eve, Harvester of Sorrow and Ronnie. These are also some of my fave songs ever xD, Ride the Lightning is my fave album.
